A quick video of my sketching and inking of Spider-Man Noir, my favorite alternative version of Spidey from a series inspired by noir movies, set in the early 30’, for this third day of Inktober 2017.
Real time was around 40 minutes.

I use a basic Bic criterium 2mm lead mechanical pencil (with HB lead) to draw because it’s heavier than a classic pencil.
I ink with a Pentel Brush Pen which is great as you don’t need to refill every once so you’re faster when doing quick sketches, plus my huge Raphaël brush n°5 and few tiny Kolinsky brushes.
My ink (a part form the Pentel cartridge) is a Winsor & Newton Black Indian and the white is a Vallejo acrylic paint.
